boop

Hansel and Gretel are twin siblings who bite off more than they can chew while exploring their small, close knit town. After a string of missing persons sends shockwaves through their tiny community, Hansel and Gretel decide that their limitations as child sleuth detective explorers need a serious upgrade. They take it on their own to find the town's missing residents, soon realizing that it was no longer child's play when they come face to face with the one responsible for the disappearances. After purchasing some sweets to curb their hunger in their sleuthing, they see something behind the counter of the local bakery that they should really have not seen. Human arms. Lean cut muscle. Bone fragments, fingers, and toes. The bakery's owner, in a fit of panic and hysteria, lunges towards Hansel and Gretel, determined to keep her human-filled cakes a sweet secret. The twins fight back, and Hansel quickly blinds the baker after tossing red hot spices into her eyes. Blinded and in a fit of rage, the baker blindly follows the children out of the shop into the cold night air, peeking through tear filled eyes as she tries to catch them as they run into the woods. Hansel and Gretel, clever and calculating, call up the police on their shared phone as they lead the blinded baker into a clearing, where police sit waiting to arrest her.

Needless to say the baker's capture was really icing on the cake.
